At NYOS, we want to create the very best products, so we have a very high standard that we hold ourselves accountable too. This also includes partnering with the people and companies who can help us achieve our goal.
We did our research and extensive due diligence to find the best manufacturer and distributor of hemp-derived phytocannabinoids in the U.S., along with industry experts for the marketing and services group. The end goal: our guarantee that the hemp extracts NYOS uses are the highest quality possible.
Below is an overview of our GMP-certified process.
How the process unfolds:
Step 1: Farming
All of the hemp that’s used in our products is grown in nutrient-rich soil in the United States under strict guidelines. We only use 100% organic practices and take advantage of a state-of-the-art farming process to enhance the quality; this ensures our products are safe and regulated in their potency and consistency.
Step 2: Processing
The hemp plants used are harvested and milled into a coarse powder, following the highest quality standards in the industry. Once processed, it’s shipped to our processing and manufacturing facility.
Step 3: Extraction and Separation
The extraction and purification process we use makes sure that all of the hemp’s beneficial phytocannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids are preserved. It also prevents natural molecules from degrading while eliminating unwanted compounds.
The extracted phytocannabinoid-rich (PCR) hemp oil ‒ containing many of the cannabinoids present in the hemp plant, along with a variety of naturally occurring terpenes, flavonoids, and amino acids ‒ provides a broad spectrum of beneficial natural compounds. This leads to an abundance of benefits found by researchers, known as the Entourage Effect.
Step 4: Distillation
The oil is then pressed to separate most of the oil from undesirable plant solids, like waxes. It’s then distilled to separate the food-grade ethanol used in the extraction process from the precious hemp extract.
Step 5: THC Removal
Our products are THC-free. THC is the compound found in hemp and cannabis that produces the “high” associated with the plant. Removing the THC is one of the most important parts of the process. Hence, we can ship our products across state lines because they are 100% THC-free.

Every batch is tested for quality and potency and goes through third-party lab testing to verify and confirm the certificates. These lab results are made available to our cus
Step 7: Nanoemulsion Technology
Creating the most bioavailable CBD in the industry requires the oil in some of our products to go through another processing step. This process transforms it into nano-sized emulsions.
Competitors’ hemp oil particles are anywhere from 150 to 5000 nanometers in size. For comparison, our product particles are 25-60 nanometers. This small size gives them better bioavailability, leading to much more effective absorption ‒ so you can use less and still experience the same amazing results. This ultimately means that you get the benefits of a high-quality product, with higher value, and achieving maximum results.
NYOS products are so effective because of the superior quality of the CBD oil and the technology used to increase its bioavailability to the body. NYOS softgels for example, are made using water-soluble hemp extract and nanoemulsion technology.
The hemp extract droplets in the nanoemulsions are between 4 and 40 times smaller than the industry standard, allowing them to be more easily absorbed into the body. Our highly bioavailable products are not only more effective but also more economical. You’ll get the same results from a much smaller amount of what we create than you would from our competitors.
